In extreme temperature of 45 deg. these farmers are cultivating apples, cashews & various other climate sensitive varieties.

Kisan Mela
Every year kisan mela and farmer awareness camps are conducted to provide information on modern farming techniques so agriculture becomes a profitable venture for the farmers and thus handle the farmer suicide menace and most importantly feeding the Country. Also organic farming is conducted at large scale and these farmers are made aware of the ill effects of pesticides and chemical sprays. All in all Dera Sacha Sauda has been a saviour for these farmers who would have otherwise been adversely affected by the seasonal inequalities prevailing all throughout year.
